We need 100% of the music rights (composition as well as master shares) to license your tracks to store chains.
If you are currently registered to ASCAP or BMI, we have a procedure agreed with them.
Instructions for ASCAP
Go to your ASCAP account and download and fill out the form “Notice of Direct/Source License.”
This form is available for download and submission through Member Access.
Simply log in through your Member Access account, and you will see the form in the Category “My Royalties”.

You can fill in the form with the following information:
- Name of the licensed service or licensed venue: Soundreef Limited, 17 Grosvenor Street, Mayfair, London, W1K 4QG
- Description of the service that has been licensed: in-store music broadcasting
- The technical medium covered by the license: background music/in-store
- Applicable territories of the license: world excluding US and Canada
- License commencement: [insert date for them]
- License expiration date: in perpetuity
- License renewals: not applicable (in perpetuity)
If you need further details, please get in touch with ASCAP.
Then upload proper Proof of Direct License on your Soundreef Account.

Please send an email to [email protected] with the following information:
- Name of the licensed service or licensed venue: Soundreef Limited
- Description of the service that has been licensed: in-store music broadcasting
- The technical medium covered by the license: background music/in-store
- Applicable territories of the license: world excluding US and Canada
- License commencement: [insert date for them]
- License expiration date: in perpetuity
- License renewals: not applicable (in perpetuity)
Then please forward to us their email and upload a pdf version of their confirmation on your Soundreef Account.
